I am Nata, the founder and designer of a dancewear brand with a soul VERONA DANCE.
But, most important, I am the mother of a young ballroom dancer Verona. Our whole family is in love with dancing, I think as much as you are, if you are in search for a ballroom dancewear. But even if you have just started dancing, I am 100% sure you will keep doing it.
When Verona just started dancing, we had to buy dance shoes and practice wear. I was given addresses of some dance shops but… I found nothing. Everything was boring and old-fashioned. At that moment I was running a successful elite atelier in the city and of course I used to make all Verona’s clothes by myself. That is what happened to our first practice skirt.
I didn’t think of starting a dance brand, just made a skirt and registered an Instagram account @verona_ballromdance for a purpose of sharing my daughter’s success and cute video clips. And one day I received a massage from a mom of another young girl, she asked me where I had bought such a skirt… then from another mom… and another… and one more… Now it is the most recognizable skirt model of VERONA DANCE brand. This is our bestseller, our U1 skirt model. It is always included in all our dance collections.
I am glad that Ballroom dancing has changed our life. My passion for making clothes has become even bigger than ever as my customers now are young ballroom dancers from 3 years old. We meet each other at dance competitions. I love to see how kids grow up in dancing as well as my brand VERONA DANCE change and grow together with my beloved dancers.
Over 4 years of our brand existence (by the way my experience in making clothes is 17 years) we have grown up from a small atelier to the full brand with its own workshop. Our costumes are represented already in 15 countries, but most important they stand out on the dance floor.
I always look for new interesting innovative materials. I have added colors to the practice wear. All my models get tested on my daughter, and I know for sure that they are not just beautiful, but comfortable and functional as well. I follow the latest fashion trends and use them for designing VERONA DANCE collections.
Despite our growth, we remain a family-owned manufactory based on the same principles that were founded five years ago at our first elite atelier.
I am committed to an individual approach to every dancer. We are always in touch on Instagram and I value every single feedback and message.
Every stage of the business is filled with our soul. It is very important for us that the dancers can see how much we love what we do. For any negative feedback (just a few so far) we find a personal approach and unique decision for everyone.
